The Two Rivers Business Association

The Two Rivers Business Association was founded in 1968 as an organization to promote business. We originally got together to advertise shopping in downtown Two Rivers and to schedule retail promotions for our members.

Today, we have broadened our objectives and activities to include special events like "Kites Over Lake Michigan" and to welcome as members all types of businesses and professions.

The TRBA works closely with Two Rivers Main Street and the Manitowoc/Two Rivers Chamber of Commerce to better the business climate of our beautiful community.

Why Should I Belong?

Your location. . .
. . . in the business community is an important component of your community's business base. Commercial property is is a significant portion of the City's tax base.

To strengthen through organization. . .
. . . by representing all businesses, large and small retail, service and professional, specialty shops, financial institutions, restaurants, building and property owners.

To work collectively. . .
. . . with other businesses and professional members to maintain viability and unity

To encourage activities. . .
. . . compatible with and supportive to the business community, by meeting with members of the City planning committees and working withe the city council and the city manager.

To protect and maintain your business investment. . .
. . . whether you're just beginning or have been at it for years networking with other business people and getting to know elected officials.

To stay informed. . .
. . . about what is happening in our business district whether its upcoming events, retail promotions or new regulations or taxes that might affect your business.

To act as a liaison. . .
. . . between business, the community and government.

We of the TRBA take pride in our community. Getting involved today will help with the activities that promote the Two Rivers Area as a whole and benefit your business.

Remember, there is strength in numbers!
